Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic has expressed frustration after his team were eliminated from the Champions League by Chelsea.
The 2-0 defeat sees Chelsea reach the quarterfinals 2-1 on aggregate.
Sterling eventually opened the scoring two minutes prior to the break when he rifled high into the net at the second time of asking.
 
The second-half burst into life in dramatic fashion on 50 minutes when VAR intervened to help award a penalty for hand ball against Marius Wolf.
 
Havertz saw his initial spot kick come crashing back off the foot of the post but made no mistake with a second attempt after VAR ordered a re-take for encroachment.
 
Terzic said: “It’s a tough result to accept; we’re very disappointed.
“They were two very tight games. In the second half we produced a very dominant performances and created a lot of chances – in the end, though, it wasn’t enough.
“We have to say, over the course of two games, Chelsea deserve to go through. But we would have deserved to go through too as it was two games that were very evenly matched.”
