A 30-year-old man, Abubakar Sani, killed his elder brother, Kabiru, during an argument over a property in Gawu Babangida, Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State.  It was gathered that Kabiru died after Sani hit him with a big stick during the argument.  The suspect had been threatening his family members before the argument ensued with Kabiru.  Spokesman of the command, Wasiu Abiodun, who confirmed the incident to Punch said that the suspect was arrested. On 24/3/2024 at about 1145hrs, police operatives attached to Gawu-Babangida Division arrested one Abubakar Sani, 30yrs of Gawu-Babangida area, Gurara LGA,” the PPRO said.  “The suspect was arrested for having engaged in a fight with his brother, Kabir Sani, 34yrs, over issues of property, and during the fight, he allegedly hit the brother with a stick on the head The victim became unconscious and he was rushed to FMC, Gawu where he was confirmed dead.
